i haven't written about you a lot, here or anywhere, because, well i don't know why. it isn't that kind of love that takes you over so insanely that it becomes all you can think about. it's calm, the way i always imagined forever love to be. in the past i feel i've furiously spatted out poems about lovers because i subconsciously known the temporary status they held in my life and wanted to remember everything before it faded off. this is not you. our time together has been short, too short for us to be thinking the way we do {people have said} but...it was immediate. so, three months in terms of immediate is actually as long as a lifetime. buttery words apply to you- but more in the long drawn out focus/ not in teenage talk. i love you. it's simply that. and everyone needs to know.
