saross (each initial of the names i love and to which this entry is dedicated)

"maybe one of these days I can come pick you up in my love-r-ly car and drive us into a tree..."

i love when people say things that, out of context, sound ridiculous ("laura, i would love to ignore your pornies but they're all up in my space") or that even taken IN context, could never make any sense ("oh my god laura! this is bunches of hell!). my friends consist of physically attractive and even stunning people who materialize their lives through 80's music, weird t-shirts and other people's trash. they are all fantastically brilliant in their own right and pay close attention to the small and often unrecognizable details of life and humanity. they each cart their bodies around with a certain distinction and security that lacks in self doubt. they are all children of art who i marvel at as i read their work or digest the sound of their lungs coming out of their face with song. there isn't a moment spent with any of them that isn't memorable. because even in silence, their beauty (whether small mouthed or pierced or head-banded or pale) is enough to marvel at and drool over and make you want to bite your own foot off about. to know a circle of friends this magnanimous is not only intensely fortunate but, in many ways, surreal. whether it be a quarter or a kiss i would send each of them as many peace offerings as a 21 yr old girl can give. they are my inspiration, my laughter, my nighttime, my days. and in a world where life is only a black and white photo- they make packing into the photo booth better, even, than its actual development.
