i told my friend richie that tori amos lyrics are funny...you really only understand what they mean when it somehow begins to relate to your life.

her line "i'm ok when everything is not ok" always blew my mind. i thought "if EVERYTHING is not ok doesn't that include how you and everyone one else affected is feeling?"

yet i've found it to be so true and so pertinent to my life. when everything's ok and everyone's getting along, i get really bored and cranky. but when people are fighting and i'm getting rushed to the e.r. for stitches and everyones all crazy and in hysterics, i can laugh and feel ridiculously content.
