that 1998 baz lurhman song says we should do one thing every day that scares us. i love this saying but don't pay attention to it often.

however, today i got the inclinition to buy a lottery ticket. (that's not the scary part). but when i went to buy it i went to 7-ELEVEN!!!! i'm terrified to go into 7-elevens by myself and wouldn't until today. it was scary and a little overwhelming, but i did it. and i'm proud of myself.

(the results of my lottery winnings remain to be seen)
