andrew: i work 16 hour shifts a lot

aly: that's insane. i don't understand how you allow that

me: well he gets nap time

aly: really?

me: yeah well his kids have to take 2 hour naps in the afternoon, so andrew has a cot he can sleep on while they're asleep

aly: oh seriously? that's cool

andrew: uh no, actually

aly: hey you guys lied to me!

me: aly, what do you think this is? do you know of any adult job where you get to nap?

aly: i don't know. i thought it was one of his benefits

me: like they called him in "ok andrew we will be offering you full benefits, including nap time"

aly: honestly, that's the european way
