my mother

and took me out to lunch.

we gabbed like girlfriends

and drank diet cokes.

i wore my hair like

a movie star

and she told me that even

the old men check me out.

we went to our favorite store

and after finding what i needed

i brought clothes into

her fitting room.

my mother

tried on some pants

they made her butt look good

and she bought them.
