i've been having a problem taking compliments. it's not a low self esteem thing, i just would rather be left alone. of course i get in those "pay attention to me and tell me sweet things" moods, but for the most part i don't need or want to be told anything about myself that is good. i just want people to let me melt into my books and my cigarettes and let me tell THEM cutie things instead.
